Every human being had a duty to provide assistance to those in need. During the course you will learns what to do, but also what not to do.
During the Lifesaving skills Basic course you will receive information about the basic principles of first aid, de Chain of Survival and Acute Assistance Procedure. There will be plenty of time for practicing various life-saving skills during the course. To make the practice as realistic as possible lotus victims can be put in.
This course is given by a nurse and/or a first aid instructor with a worldwide recognized quality mark.
During this course there will be more attention given to life saving skills then First Aid. The course First Aid can also be found on this site.
Course content
During this course E-learning you will learn how to provide first aid with accidents. This will include how to approach a victim, how to apply bandages to an injury and how to perform resuscitation with an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED). The course will be finished with a theoretic certificate. When the exam has been finished successfully, you will receive an Lifesaving skills Refresh certificate.
During this course practise day you will learn how to provide first aid with accidents. This will include how to approach a victim, how to apply bandages to an injury and how to perform resuscitation with an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED. This will be practiced on a lotus victim. The course will be finished with a theoretic exam. When the exam has been finished successfully, you will receive an Lifesaving skills Refresh certificate.
The lesson plan is also available for customization and there is a possibility to add special components, for example special dangers on the work floor (hazardous substances), handle aggression, or a more realistic training by means of a lotus victim or with the use of the Mobil Fire Container. Initial situation
To participate in this course you require a certificate. All our basic courses you can find on the end of this page.
Validity Period
The Lifesaving Skills Refresh certificate from quality mark Emergency First Response (EFR) is valid for one year. We provide the certification also with quality marks: First Aid International (FAI), MEDIC First Aid International, Oranje Kruis, Rode Kruis or Nederlandse Vereniging Bedrijfshulpverlening (NVB). These certificates are also valid for one year. The annual refresher training is a six hour practical course. This certificate is also valid as a partial certificate for the Emergency Response Officer (BHV – ERO).
