The course for Emergency Response Officer (ERO BHV) is a complete course including introduction of the AED. An Emergency Response Officer, First Aider, Fire warden or evacuation warden is an ordinary employee. However, if an incident occurs at the workplace – fire breaks out, someone gets injured or there is a bomb alert – it is the Emergency Response Officer who will take action. He knows what action has to be taken to evacuate a building and has knowledge of what has to be done when someone faints or in the event of a fire. If this happens, it is the Emergency Response Officer who, together with the rest of the Emergency Response Team (ERT), ensures that the present people leave the building as quickly and safely as possible.
