Description
This course educates for the certificates ‘CPR Basic’ and ‘Operator automated external defibrillator’ (AED). The courses are given corresponding to the regulations from the Dutch Resuscitation Board (NRR).
Emergency First Response CPR & AED course is destined for those who want to help a person who gets heart failure in a responsible way. After the course you can recognise heart failure, alert professional help, resuscitate the victim in the right way and operate correctly with the AED. This life saving device can increase a patient’s chance of survival from a cardiac arrest by fifty percent. During this course you will be given explanations about different kinds of AED brands and differences: fully automatic AED or partly automatic. No resuscitation is the same, no AED works the same way. This course is very popular for annual CPR (re-)training often required for the workplace.
Course content
The lesson plan is also available for customization and there is a possibility to add special components, for example special dangers on the work floor (hazardous substances), handle aggression, or a more realistic training by means of a lotus victim or with the use of the Mobil Fire Container. Initial situation
There are no specific requirements to participate in this course.
Validity Period
Emergency First Response CPR & AED certificate from quality mark Emergency First Response (EFR) is valid for one year. We provide the certification also with quality marks: First Aid International (FAI), MEDIC First Aid International, Oranje Kruis, Rode Kruis or Nederlandse Vereniging Bedrijfshulpverlening (NVB). These certificates are also valid for one year. The annual refresher training is a two hour practical course.
